In Al-Ula we have a history of horses dating back many thousands of years, something that is catalogued into the rock faces of Jabal Ikmah and Al-Aqra.

This February 2nd, Al-Ula will continue this tradition and host the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Race.

The FEI sanctioned, two-star classification race will cover 120km over four loops through the magnificent mountains of Al-Ula, a technical course between desert and mountains that will take approximately 8 hours to complete for the 100 riders. The race will be one of the most prestigious in the region, where some of the world best riders will compete for a prize pot of 15 million SAR. This is the third largest prize pot in the region for Endurance racing.

All Winter at Tantora package holders will have spectator tickets to watch the race and a further 1500 tickets will be on sale for the general public. These tickets will be on sale from Tantora in Al-Ula Old Town.

Access to the race will be via bus service from the Tantora parking lot. Buses run every 30 minutes and are free of charge:
